Giving

 

The Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Hope is a work of the lay faithful of the Catholic Church. We do not receive any financial support from state, local diocese, or other entities. As such, we rely on generous supporters who are willing to join us in this mission. By using our gifts from God together, we hope to bring Him glory by forming the next generation to be faithful disciples of Christ. Please prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to become a part of our important work of raising the next generation of Saints!

We strive to be careful and prudent stewards of every dollar entrusted to us while establishing the Academy on a strong financial footing to ensure stability for years to come. The dollars you donate today will be used to help us in our immediate priorities: (1) rejuvenate our physical location in Warwick RI (2) maintain staff of faith-filled headmaster and teaching faculty, and (3) ensure continued affordable tuition.

  • Donating appreciated securities may provide significant tax benefits. These securities or crypto currencies can be transferred directly us in a straight forward process. Please contact mcasey@chestertonri.org to learn more.

  • Many donors utilize donor advised funds to make their gifts. You can search for Chesterton Academy in Rhode Island or via our EIN, 88-1226349.

  • Employer matching is a great way to increase the value of your gift at no additional cost to you. Be sure to contact HR or review your benefits to see if this is an option for you.

Our Lady of Hope Gift Society

By becoming a member of The Our Lady of Hope Gift Society, you agree to contribute $25 or more each month through automatic deductions from your credit card or debit card account with no specified end date.

  • Recurring gifts provide a stable source of income for Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Hope, helping to reduce both expense and dependency on other fundraising activities, allowing us to focus on the school and future needs.

  • Once you are enrolled in our Our Lady of Hope Recurring Gift Society, you will be remembered in our daily Masses and prayers at convocation. There will be a special Mass that will be offered for all society members on or near the Feast of Our Lady of Hope.

 
 

The Founding 100

The first 100 donors to donate at least $1,000 will be perpetual members of the Founding 100. Just a few spots remain!

  • Members of The Founding 100 will forever be able to count themselves among the committed initial community members that played a pivotal role in making the first Chesterton Academy in New England a reality.

  • The Founding 100 will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be forever displayed in our school. Donors can be individuals, families, or groups. Example engravings include “Mr. & Mrs. John Smith”, "The Smith Family" or "Friends of St. Joe's Church".

  • Once a member of The Founding 100 you will be remembered in our daily Masses and prayers at convocation. There will be a special Mass that will be offered for all donors on or near the Feast of Our Lady of Hope.

 

Friends of Chesterton

Friends of Chesterton make a contribution of at least $10,000.

  • Members of the Friends of Chesterton help us make significant progress towards our goal of maximizing the utilization of all available matching funds and moving us closer to meeting our initial fundraising goals.

  • You will be included (as applicable) in the Founding 100 and included on the plaque that will be forever displayed in our school.

  • Once you are enrolled in the Friends of Chesterton Society, you will be remembered in our daily Masses and prayers at convocation. There will be a special Mass that will be offered for all society members on or near the Feast of Our Lady of Hope.

 
 

Donors of Distinction

Chesterton Academy Donors of Distinction make a contribution of at least $25,000.

  • Donors of Distinction are critical partners in providing the necessary financial footing for the establishment of the Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Hope.

  • You will be included (as applicable) in the Founding 100 and included on the plaque that will be forever displayed in our school.

  • As a Donor of Distinction, you will be remembered in our daily Masses and prayers at convocation. There will be a special Mass that will be offered in your honor on or near the Feast of Our Lady of Hope.

No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution.
